Up, Bustle and Out – A Bristol, UK-based collective whose rebellious music and unique production styles have given them a fan base that crosses frontiers. 5-album pioneers of the Ninja Tune label. Prolific creative output that no other Ninja artist equalled, followed by 2 ‘Jamaican’ albums of Street Grooves & 1 ‘Mexican Sessions’ album fusing Caribbean rhythms with Mexican spice. !ARRIBA!

Original soundtrack to the 2010 motion picture, the third film in the successful Twilight Saga franchise. Features 15 tracks including cuts from Muse, Metric, The Bravery, The Dead Weather, Vampire Weekend, Florence & The Machine, The Black Keys and many others.

Montreal-based one-man band Yoav puts himself to the test on the follow-up to his well-received 2008 debut, Charmed and Strange, increasing the level of complexity in the intricately sampled and looped layering, while still insisting that he go it alone. Yoav creates all manner of palatable sounds by hammering, strumming and strangling his long-suffering guitar and streaming it through a massive pedal board he calls “The Beast”.
On his new album “A Foolproof Escape Plan” Yoav has expanded his range of effects and even include a modest amount drums and piano on some of his tracks – though still maintaining the overall feel of the previous album. The album also marks a slight change in style for Yoav, as the album contains several songs that are more up-beat and “positive” than was the case with “Charmed and Strange”.
The opening song “Greed” is a good example of the new album – more energetic than the old songs, but still keeping an open air around the music. Yoav’s new style also really shines through on the song “Yellowbrite Smile”. But that is not to say that Yoav has abandoned his old style… Not at all. Some of the moments on the album are the songs “Little Black Box” and “Safety in Numbers” all of which are every bit as trance-inducing as any of the old stuff.
